Our curriculum focuses on grades PreK through 8th grade and addresses the core subjects or Reading/Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies. Our students also receive specialty classes in the areas of art, music, PE. At the middle school level, our students are exposed to a variety of College and Career classes, such as computer apps and STEM. There are opportunities for our 8th graders to take several classes for high school credit.

Math was supposed to be adopted in the 2020-21 school year. However, since the ELA adoption took considerable time and larger resources than in the past, The TN Department of Education decided to postpone the math textbook adoption.  The math textbook adoption will take place during the 2021-22 school year. To learn more about textbook adoption, click HERE.

STEM or STEAM are acronyms which stand for Science, Technology, Engineering, (ART), Math. We are continuously looking at providing extra opportunities for our students to be exposed to areas in career exploration and STEAM. A great resource to learn more about STEAM is the Tennessee STEM Innovation Network.
